About School
The school was established in the year 2006 in the name of DAV PUBLIC SCHOOL Maheshpur Raj, Pakur Jharkhand. It is one of the 750 golden branches of DAV institution which was started in a rented building in the year 2006 with 75 budding talents of the nation. In 2012 (01-04-2012) this school was beingseparated by the DAV Managing Committee New Delhi. The very aim of the Managing Committee was to develop an English Medium Co- Educational school in the block of District Pakur namely DAV Public School Maheshpur in the state of Jharkhand. Presently our school is running in three storeyed building having sufficient lands. It is located in lush green surrounding far from the madding crowded town.Presently it is running up to Std. VIII.Our school provides a congenial environment for all round development of the personality of the students and its integration with the society, particularly in reference to the Indian Context. Positive ideas are inculcated in the students pertaining to their personal hygienic , tidiness of uniform,cleanliness of surrounding, graceful manner, obedience and every child for achieving and maintain high academic standard. A band of highly qualified, motivated, dedicated and sincere teachers play the role of model for the students. Individual care personal coaching and a regular efforts give a very vibrant and inspiring environment. Learning is a joy in a DAV intuitions because teachers make their lessons very interesting by following various methods of teaching techniques viz demonstration, experimentations,project works, home assignment, play way method, micro and macro-teaching, structure method soon.The strength and success of the DAV School lie in the harmonious blend of science and technology on a sound foundation of ancient Vedic Culture.The aim ofour school is to create the students a thirst for knowledge, devotion to duty, honesty and patriotic fervor besides humanity.We impart education to build and education to play. Apart from scholastic activities students are motivated towards non-scholastic activities. These activities are mandatory in our intuitions Students are divided into four Houses. Each House is headed by House Masters/Mistress for guiding the students in various types of inters House competitions. Apart from these several on and off campus programmes including excursion/trips and intra-school competitions are organized. Students are encouraged to develop their leadership skills through a house system that is governed by prefectural system.
